I passed by Sephora the other day and couldn't help but walk in. So what I ended up buying was the contour kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills in the color tan. I jumped on the band wagon. Lè sigh. lol. So far I am playing around with the different highlighters and contour colors. I will say it does slightly brighten up my face and creates depth and definition. But at $40 per pallet you are investing a lot. But it will last you a long time. I wanted to purchase a powder contour kit because the oil base kits might have been harder to blend for a novice contour like myself. My friend who is a make up stylist recommended this product for me. Overall I would recommend this product!!

Spa day, Red Door Spa
Recently I made a trip to Elizabeth Arden, Red Door Spa to get pampered. The sitting/ lounge area was very tranquil and nicely decorated. Upon entering the spa I was greeted by employees asking my name and with whom I had the appointment. I was led to this sitting area and offered either infused cucumber or lemon water and hot tea. I was called into one of the rooms to have my services completed.

Tea Time!
Good Evening wonderful people! I had the opportunity to attend a tea in Philly. It was such a great
opportunity. Sitting out in the garden with a gorgeous hat and yummy finger food. I also have a thing for wearing gloves. I think in another life I lived in the 40s-60s, lol. Any who have fun exploring!

Traveling to the "Big Apple"
A couple of years ago a made a trip up to Jersey to visit my grandmother, and while I was there
stopped in New, York City to do some sightseeing. It was 2010, in July. A sweltering summer, me
and some friends backed a book bag full of frozen water and snacks and toured around all the
mainstream areas.

Prime that Face
Face Primer
While I was browsing around Sephora after I got my foundation situation handled, the
same employee that helped me with my foundation suggested I use a primer under my
foundation. I have used primer before but maybe I was not using it correctly. I liked the way it
made my foundation look like a matte finish. She applied the primer with a foundation looking brush ( I don't know the exact name) all over my face evenly and applied the foundation.
I will post pictures of the final look also.
Here is the primer that I purchased and used.
I really liked the way it made my make up stay on all day and the finish of the foundation looked great too.
Fun Foundation
I decided to make a trip back to Sephora and pick up some
foundation. I wanted a foundation that matched my winter skin undertone. The current
foundation I was wearing seemed too dark for my skin in the winter time.
So I visited Sephora over the weekend and purchased Nars all
day luminous weightless foundation in the color Macao. I really wanted one of
the employees to give me their expertise but the mall on the weekends is treacherous!
When I wore the foundation the next day I noticed in
different lighting I looked almost umpa-lumpa like. An orange tinge to my face
which I was not feeling at all. Not for the winter time.
So when I went back to Sephora yesterday one of the
employees helped me and we did half my face in Macao and the other half in
Cadiz. I was happy with Cadiz and decided to keep Macao for the summer time.
I will post some pictures of this foundation also.
